The problem

Yeamazing began as a B2B cashback network where customers could only browse stores, not products. The business needed to open up to end consumers without breaking the merchant model that already worked — so the platform had to serve partners, walk-in shoppers and online buyers at the same time.

A cashback commerce platform that started as a B2B-only storefront and grew into a full B2C marketplace with partner tools, POS, and native mobile apps.

What I built

  • Product-level storefront

    Reworked discovery so shoppers browse products across every partner, with search, categories, and comparable pricing instead of a flat list of stores.

  • Partner portal

    Product creation, variants, stock movement, order fulfilment and cashback settlement — the full merchant back office, on web and as a native app.

  • Checkout & payments

    Cart, address handling, cash-on-delivery and online payment through SSLCommerz, with reconciliation of cashback per order.

  • QR in-store purchase with POS

    A counter flow where the customer scans a QR, the POS confirms the basket and the cashback is credited instantly to their wallet.

  • Notifications

    Automated email and SMS for order confirmation, status transitions and receipts, shared by web and mobile.

  • Mobile apps

    Partner Portal built from the ground up in React Native / Expo, with the consumer storefront embedded in the same app shell.

Hard parts

  1. 01

    Turning a store catalogue into a product catalogue

    The original data model assumed a store was the unit of browsing. I had to restructure product data, ownership, and pricing so that products from different partners could live in one searchable catalogue without breaking existing merchant records.

  2. 02

    Cashback that stays correct across channels

    Online orders, cash-on-delivery, and in-store QR purchases all credit cashback differently. Getting settlement consistent — including refunds and cancelled orders — needed a single ledger-style source of truth rather than per-flow logic.

  3. 03

    Shipping the same flows twice

    Web and mobile had to stay behaviourally identical. I pushed business rules into shared APIs so the Expo app and the Next.js site could not drift apart.

My contribution

  • Extended the original B2B store-only model into a B2C product-level storefront so customers can discover, compare, and buy across partners.
  • Built the partner side: product creation, stock management, order fulfilment, and cashback settlement.
  • Shipped the full customer purchase flow — browse, cart, checkout — with cash-on-delivery and online payment via SSLCommerz.
  • Wired transactional email and SMS for order confirmation, status changes, and receipts.
  • Built the Partner Portal mobile app from scratch in React Native / Expo, plus embedded the storefront experience in-app.
  • Designed a QR-based in-store purchase flow with POS integration for instant cashback at the counter.

Outcome

  • Platform moved from B2B-only to serving both partners and end consumers.
  • Partners self-serve their catalogue and stock instead of relying on manual onboarding.
  • In-store cashback became a seconds-long QR scan at the counter.
